My name is Julie White-Chaples

and I am Ron’s daughter.

Since Ronnie passed and is no longer with us, I am the resident farmer for the Adobe Springs Olive Farm.  I am also the founder and creator of OluvSkin and OluvSkin skincare products.

When Ron retired from farming in 1998, we were worried that he wouldn’t have any thing to do, so we planted him some olive trees, never anticipating what would happen. Let me show you how we got started and what we are doing now!

So on one very hot 100 degree plus day our family and friends helped us plant our first 150 trees in very hard, dry dirt – a day no one who was there will ever forget! (They will also not forget the olive sorting party we had a few years later with our first crop when we had olive fly issues!). We got it done, with a lot of frustrations and much laughter, and we have grown from there.  Everything on our farm is naturally grown and no pesticides are ever used.  Pictures are worth a thousand words!

Within a few years it became apparent that producing olive oil was going to cost a lot of money and give little in return, so Julie began experimenting with producing skincare products using olive oil as a base. Julie is a true hands-on creator; tending to the trees, irrigating with natural spring water, harvesting and cold pressing the olives, then formulating her organic ingredients into the highest quality skin care products.  Olive oil has been used for centuries to nourish the skin as it’s a powerful antioxidant, rich in vitamin E and beta-carotene, and renowned for its extraordinary emollient and beneficial properties.  In addition, olive oil stimulates new cell generation, firms skin, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent.  OluvSkin products are truly beneficial to all that enjoy using them in addition to our planet.  It is truly a labor of love!
